At Wolf River, we intentionally keep our Trophy Elk Hunts limited to create a more exclusive and authentic experience. Our Trophy Elk season is available during August and September, then closes before reopening again in December, allowing us to properly manage our herd and maintain a high-quality hunting experience.

Our herd management program is designed to provide hunters with multiple trophy classes and price points, allowing us to offer opportunities for different goals and different budgets. Whether you're looking for an incredible 300" class bull or chasing a true 400"+ giant, we have options to fit your hunt.

We are not a high-volume operation. We focus on low pressure, quality experiences, and keeping our animals natural in their movement and behavior. Hunters can choose spot & stalk hunts, tree stands, or blind setups, with both archery and rifle opportunities available.

Every hunt is a 3-day all-inclusive experience including lodging, meals, license & tags, and harvest care.
